Thetis Hardware Security Key Tester

This local page uses the browser WebAuthn API to test a FIDO2/U2F-style hardware key. First register the key, then authenticate with the same key. Your credential ID is stored only in this browser's localStorage.

1. Insert key Plug in your Thetis key. Use the browser where you want to test it.

2. Register Create a test credential scoped to this local site.

3. Authenticate Touch the key when prompted. Success means the browser got a signed assertion.

Run from http://localhost or HTTPS. WebAuthn will usually fail from plain http:// on a normal domain.
